Well enough of that! Because now, finally, officially, its all about baby!!! ... and mommy and daddy! :) I didn't like sharing my mind space with studying. Now baby can occupy the majority of it! God knows he's beginning to occupy my belly more every day! Yep! I'm beginning to feel the start of tight pants and shirts that only make me look fat. So shopping I went on Saturday, also to celebrate the end of the exam! My sister-in-love and niece helped me shop. My niece being the biggest help of all! lol It was fun, trying on those clothes with the fake 7 month baby bump. I tried the first one on alone because I really didn't know if I would get emotional at the sight. I did, but no visual tears. Its just precious. I purchased 6 tops but realized that I'm in that in between stage. They are just a tiny bit too roomy still but my own clothes are too tight and not attractive, for the most part. So I'll do what I can. Its all fun and I'm enjoying every minute of it!
I'm getting used to the idea of this little one being inside of me. So although I think about 'being pregnant' all day every day. Its not until I lay down in bed at night, in the dark, and truly realize the miracle of life happening inside of me. That as I'm going about my work, nerves are being formed, muscle is being laid, bones are taking shape. This week she formed fingerprints... which I call the fingerprints of God. :) Her little eyes are opening, fingers and toes are fully developed. Her body is catching up to her head in size. The organs are coming to completion this week! As I near the end of my 13th week, all essential components and all critical organs are complete. Now its time to grow! Its amazing to me! I have always stood in awe of the delicate work of God in creating a human life inside of a woman. But now, it is so much more real! I am that woman. And I feel so privileged, so blessed, to be given this responsibility. I want to do all that I can to ensure that this baby gets only the best. So I'm on a mission, now that my tummy is feeling better and I'm getting my energy back, to put that energy into eating the best I can and getting back to exercise (not to say I'll be perfect, by an means!). I'm excited for these next few months as, Sean and I, get to watch our precious little one grow inside of me. I love that thought!
p.s. I interchange him and her, not to confuse you.... no, we don't know the sex yet.... but only because I can't stand the thought of saying 'it'. :) We'll know the sex in about 5 weeks! :)
